Head to Heart – Check In
I am excited to share this New Year with you. I hope this New Year brings new adventures, new goals, and success. One of my goals this year is to take an active role in Mental Health Awareness. There is a stigma in dealing with Mental Health, and I want to provide a voice of advocacy. I have started to lunch Head to Heart Check-Ins, a (bi)weekly 😊 blog post to get my thoughts, ideas, and mental health tips out there and for us to discuss and learn from each other.
I am excited to start writing this New Year. I'm getting outside my comfort zone and walking into something I have put off doing for years. I published my first book in 2021, which has been on my Vision Board for years. I know many people have started the vision board this year, and I don't know about you, but my vision board ends up in the back of my closet or as a coaster on my desk. I have even gone to change the date on one of my vision boards because it has the same goals each year.
"New Year, New Me, healthy lifestyle buy a home, save money, go on trips." These goals are great and doable, but I wanted something different this year. I wanted to have specific goals to focus more on my Mind, Body, and Spirit. I hope that by sharing this Blog, I hold myself accountable and create a space to grow my spirituality to walk in my authentic self and enjoy life in fullness. My 1st and foremost goal for this year is self-compassion. By being kind to myself, II gives room to make mistakes. To not always be right and to let go of living my life through the veil of perfectionism and allowing myself to space and time just to be me. So happy New Year, guys. We are in week 2 of the New Year, so if your goals have fallen to the wayside or they are going strong, please remember to be kind to yourself and know that you are loved, valued, and needed.
